Update from Jeff on Vail: Vail is still missing. There has been an amazing response on social media but some of the information is incorrect such as Vail’s eyes color. Vail’s eye color is BLUE. Both parents are working with investigators, police, and personal networks to locate Vail. It is believed that Vail is with a friend but we are continuing to spread the word and search. If you have any information please call 911. Thank you.

Vail’s situation is not unusual, unfortunately. She just doesn’t want to come home. I’m a PI who has “found” two young girls in similar circumstances. They are terribly vulnerable to predators. I hope someone can convince her to call a crisis line or her family. She is reaching out – she knows she needs help.

In addition to an amber alert and the police, I wonder if Crime Stoppers can help. In any other society, this could be kidnapping – a terrible crime. Hopefully, Vail is located safe and sound, and soon. Any accomplices should be jailed in my opinion. I understand the father’s family is one of the landmark great examples of a family we all strive for — lots of love. God Bless the entire family.

Missing or hiding from her father? Court system failed miserably on this one. Spend just 5 minutes looking into each sides story. A video outside the courthouse sealed the deal for me.

You don’t know what you don’t know. The father and his family are probably one of the all time top families ever. I personally spoke with Vail earlier this year and when there is no “interference”, she was very happy and loving with her father. Any comments made otherwise just do not pass the smell test. This little girl needs help. The court has ordered counseling and a GAL. Everyone affirms that the dad IS NOT the one that needs to be concerned about. And, I now understand that real soon, mom may get the chance to go to jail for hiding information about this “so called disappearance” from the court and the police. Hopefully, those aiding and abetting will also get the chance to go to jail. Save this child. I suggest that you try to attend the next hearing if you have any doubts whatsoever – October 4th, Superior Court of Washington King County. You may then come to the conclusion that everything you read is not true. Until then, I respectfully request that you pray about this little girl who may be becoming irreparably harmed by ONE of the parents.

Vail was indeed happy and loving with her father. When he started changing every little thing in her life after the divorce, things changed. After never being away from her mother at night in her entire life, she was forced to stay for an entire week with her father. After being always homeschooled and in the past year transitioning to an alternative school, she was thriving, but Dad put her in public school full time without accommodation for her autism and anxiety needs. She failed as a result of these choices that her father made. She was miserable at his home and he kept her from her possessions of comfort and from friends and her counselor. He would schedule her for appointments without any warning and have several different relatives pick her up from school and take her wherever they needed to be — both are extremely difficult for a child with autism to cope with, as routine and stability are essential. She ran away from HIS care.

Appears mom got ordered to go to jail. Was this site misleading the readers on this blog? What about the GAL trying to make sure the little girl was safe, that the little girl got to go to school (and catch up as I understand that she is years behind in her mom’s “homeschooling”), the GAL put the father in charge of medical decisions — and guess what —- appears the little girl doesn’t have all of the medical issues that some are made to believe from the new doctors (court appointed)? And I understand that mom can no longer have her own Go Fund Me Page due to what I understand is perceived to be the overall deceit. The final chapter is not written quite yet. Hopefully, Vail will be “found” (I understand subpoenas went out today to mom and maybe some of her “close” people soon). And those responsible for the deceit and possibly hiding her from the court (kidnapping?), hiding her from the GAL and most importantly, hiding her from her father — will hopefully go to jail too. Is this kidnapping?
Just my opinion. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU READ! As I understand it, one of the parents (you figure it out) insisted that the grandparents were never allowed to hug this young lady — including the aunts and uncles, cousins, etc. or show any affection for her. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU READ. Remember, another Go Fund Me Page was ordered to be taken down by the court.

Is this kidnapping? In at least one other similar cases, I understand the accomplices were also sentenced to serve jail time. Just my opinion. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU READ! I urge anyone with any questions to learn through the filings of the courts the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I hope Vail is found safely soon and that this recent decision to put mother in jail will not result in harm to Vail to save “certain people” from justice.

Mom was ordered to jail not for any criminal act, but for Contempt charges – as a coercive measure to get her to comply with court orders. One of those Contempt charges was for when the father failed to appear and pick up his daughter, and the others are for requests which violate the mother’s constitutional rights.

The parent evaluator determined that Vail was NOT educationally neglected while being homeschooled. Vail failed public school 6th grade this year which was her father’s decision to place her in. He also decided that she did not need any accommodations for her disability, despite that being a common occurrence in any public school. These decisions have led to her educational neglect for the first time in her life.

Vail was diagnosed with Autism in 2009 and 2015. The father stated in court that he agreed with the diagnosis. Autism has no cure. Vail has not been evaluated for autism again recently.

One aspect of autism is that intimate contact from people one is not familiar with is extremely difficult and can cause extreme adverse emotional reactions. If Vail’s mother advised Vail’s family to not smother her, it was simply to make Vail feel more comfortable until she was ready to accept affection on her own terms.

There is a GoFundMe page for Vail so that she can have her own attorney, and that campaign remains in place. There has not been a recent GoFundMe just for the mother in well over a year, and King County Courts do not have jurisdiction over a private company’s website even if there was.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU READ. Clearly the father’s family has connections (“The father and his family are probably one of the all time top families ever” — who talks like that? LOL) and isn’t above finding willing trolls to spread misinformation online.

You don’t know what you don’t know! Hopefully, Vail will be found and those responsible for this kidnapping will go to jail — all of them. There are a number of people that appear to be hurting this child by hiding her from a loving family. The court records are clear. The school records are clear. This child can be permanently damaged if she does not receive the proper help. And God Bless the legal system for having to do the right thing. You forget that one of the parties (mom) has had numerous attorneys, numerous. I wonder why she could not get along with them either?

Mom has had zero problems “getting along with” her attorneys. She’s had to lose them because she could not pay for them. None of them have left for personal or ethical reasons, only financial reasons.

Well one of us is using her full name, photo, and is a friend of the mother, the other is using a made-up handle with no identification and using language like “And I understand that…due to what I understand is perceived to be…” and one of us has actual court documents. Who is really the troll? I have stated nothing that cannot be verified as factual.

You seem more interested in making mother’s case for her than the well-being of the child. The mother seems more interested in garnering sympathy for herself, like the selfie she posted of herself in the hospital wearing an oxygen cannula, in her failed attempt to delay the court hearing. “Look at me! Look at me!” that photo cries. Meanwhile, the father seems most interested in finding his daughter and getting her help.

Anyone with an ounce of discernment would not donate a penny to the mother’s cause.

There’s no “mother’s cause”, there is a GoFundMe established to get Vail her own attorney. The mother has no access to those funds.
